Prior to joining JFRC, Dr. Guo was the director of the Gene Targeting & Transgenic Facility at University of Connecticut Health Center. The Facility provides services of gene targeting construct, ES cell targeting, generation of chimeric mice and DNA pronuclear microinjection. Caiying Guo obtained her MD degree from Medical School, Southwest University, China and practiced as a cardiologist in Beijing, China. She has a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
