Konrad Rokicki
Konrad Rokicki has over ten years of software development experience in life science informatics, with an emphasis in enterprise architecture, including n-tier systems, Service Oriented Architectures, and Model Driven Architectures. Konrad came to Janelia Farm from SAIC where he worked on the cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG) effort for the National Cancer Institute. At the NCI he developed grid services for molecular annotations, focused on computable semantic interoperability. He also led the R&D effort to create mobile applications for caBIG. Earlier in his career Konrad worked at Gene Logic, creating commercial genomics applications for biomarker discovery. Konrad holds his M.S. in Computer Science from George Washington University, and his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
