Sandro Romani, Herve Rouault and I organize a yearly workshop in theoretical neuroscience.
The 2015 workshop will take place during November 15-20, 2015.
The workshop is a bit unusual in that it is meant as a "by the students, for the students" workshop. The workshop is composed of students and postdocs who perform theoretical neuroscience research (no PIs invited). Each attendee will briefly present his own work in a traditional slide presentation, and in addition will present a more in depth tutorial on the techniques used in their research. The idea of this workshop is to encourage more detailed technical discussion between young theoreticians, a deeper understanding of the diverse techniques used in modern theoretical neuroscience, and perhaps even a stronger sense of community.
