Biography
Prior to joining Janelia, Dr. Guo was the director of the Gene Targeting & Transgenic Facility at University of Connecticut Health Center. The Facility at Janelia provides a wide range of services for genetically engineered mouse/rat models including ES cell and Crispr/cas9 mediated gene targeting, and generation and preservation of genetically modified animal models. Caiying Guo obtained her MD degree from the Medical School, Southeast University, China and practiced as a cardiologist in Beijing, China. She has a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
