Chris, who has a rich background in administration and customer service, joined Howard Hughes Medical Institute in December, 2010. She is currently Lab Coordinator for the labs of Parvez Ahammad, Kristin Branson, Philipp Keller, Gene Myers, Hanchuan Peng, David Stern, and GECI. Prior to joining Janelia, Chris was an executive assistant at Verizon Communications. Her interest in Janelia was sparked by a friend working at Janelia who consistently told her about the culture of the research campus and the intellectual benefits of being part of it. She takes great pride in her role of ensuring that lab staff spends as little time as possible being involved in administrative duties and has an appreciation for the unique and collaborative culture at the Janelia Farm Research Campus.
