Ulrike Heberlein, a Janelia scientific program director and laboratory head, will deliver a public lecture titled, “Alcoholism: 100 Million Years in the Making?”
Heberlein will speak on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. “Dialogues of Discovery“ is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for admission.
This talk will cover the evolution of alcohol use, beginning nearly 100 million years ago with small animals and moving through key historic events that led to current epidemics of abuse.
