Biography

Goran has over 25 years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale storage systems and Linux high-performance compute clusters. He is currently Head of High Performance Computing at Howard Hughes Medical Institute's Janelia Research Campus, where he is responsible for HPC, cloud, and storage infrastructure.

He has been with HHMI since 2001, joining at the department of genetics at Washington University in St. Louis. Goran holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri in St. Louis and a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
