Biography
Before coming to Janelia Research Campus Robert supported the Seagate Technology Advanced Research Center in Pittsburgh PA. He managed Mac, Linux and High Performance Compute resources for a diverse research community working on problems from micro magnetic modeling to big data mining.
Rob is now a member of Janelia's Scientific Computing Systems team with a focus on High Performance Computing and Storage Systems. He is now responsible for the day to day operations of the 5000 core compute cluster as well as the petabytes of high performance storage systems to support it.
