I am currently an AI Scientist at HHMI Janelia Research Campus, where I am part of the AI@HHMI initiative. I completed my PhD in Computer Science at Harvard University, where I was advised by Hanspeter Pfister. I received my M. Sc. and B. Sc. degrees in Computer Science from TU Wien, Austria. My research interests lie broadly in applied machine learning and data visualization, especially with applications in connectomics. Specifically, I focus on building scalable image analysis algorithms and representation learning approaches to analyze the hidden architecture of the brain.
