Biography
I grew up in multiple states across the Midwest and settled in Wisconsin to complete my B.S. in Biochemistry. Attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison I became acquainted with the CryoEM Research Center there. For a little over a year I worked with CryoEM research scientists and completed my senior thesis on the structure of RSV nucleocapsids. I was lucky enough to find Janelia a year later in the same field that I fell in love with. At Janelia I work as a CryoFIB research technician and create lamella for all types of Janelia research!
