Biography

Anastasia joined Janelia in the summer of 2017 and is currently a lab coordinator for the Lavis, Scheffer, Beyene, and Pedram labs as well as supporting the Tool Translation Team (T3), Open Chemistry, and the Collaboratorium. Additionally, Anastasia has a specialist role supporting Janelia's Open Science initiatives. With a background in biochemistry, environmental chemistry, and laboratory management Anastasia strives to provide excellent support to her labs, with the goal of allowing them to perform the best science possible. Drawn by Janelia’s commitment to open science, Anastasia is incredibly proud to work at Janelia and engaged by the opportunities to continuously improve herself.
