Biography
Raised in the Bahamas, Dominique moved to the United States in 2013 for her B.A. in International Relations at American University. After working in a variety of industries, she joined the Lab Administration team in August 2021 and supported several Shared Resources including Cell and Tissue Culture, Gene Targeting and Transgenics, Drosophila Resources, Molecular Biology, Viral Tools, Media Prep, Flow Cytometry, and Scientific Computing Software. In August 2022 she transitioned to the role of Administrative Assistant for Scientific Operations, supporting all Shared Resources more broadly and Scientific Operations leadership.
Having a lifelong passion for science, Dominique was drawn to Janelia due to the diverse and collaborative campus culture. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and volunteering with the DC Shiba Inu Rescue.
